No story to speak of in the two episodes available. Just some very pretty scenery and a very pretty woman travelling around a bit. Apparently the manga which this is drawn from "Yokohama Shopping Trip", is very popular in Japan.
There are a total of four episodes, with an enormous gap in time occurring between the production of the two pairs of episodes. A very small cast of characters is made very good use of.
The two epsiodes of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou that are available as "Quiet Country Cafe" in Hong Kong subtitled release are gems. Video quality is good, sound quality excellent.
This is another one of those "nothing happens" series, which, if that sort of thing appeals to you, is very enjoyable indeed.
